HUE strives to increase its international competitiveness and build global bridges by actively welcoming overseas exchange students.
As a part of this effort, HUE has established a special admission system for international students separate from general admission. Since all lectures at HUE are conducted in Japanese, international applicants’ Japanese language ability is essential. Admisson interviews are conducted in Japanese.
Today’s HUE has numerous international students from various parts of the world. A multitude of languages can be heard on its thoroughly international campus.
- Enables applicants to take the entrance examination in their own country
- HUE Graduate School offers Graduate Study System for those who wish to continue further research under graduate school’s professors’ guidance using the knowledge acquired during undergraduate and graduate courses of study, and for those who wish to acquire further knowledge to prepare for the graduate study.
- HUE offers the STEP program that accepts short-term international students from sister schools, affiliated schools and network schools in overseas countries. We have, so far, accepted numerous international students from China, Indonesia, France, Poland, Germany and some other countries in Asia and Europe.
- HUE provides the tuition discount system for privately financed international students. HUE is committed to supporting them financially to allow them to focus on their study.
